Thu Sep 26 18:53:41 UTC 2024: ## Popular YouTuber BeerBiceps Loses Control of Channels in Cyberattack
**MUMBAI, INDIA** – Popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps, has fallen victim to a cyberattack that has resulted in hackers taking control of both his main YouTube channels.
The hackers renamed his BeerBiceps channel to “@Elon.trump.tesla_live2024” and his personal channel to “@Tesla.event.trump_2024.” They also deleted most of his content, replacing it with old streams featuring Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
YouTube has since taken down the hacked channels, prompting Allahbadia to address the situation indirectly on Instagram. He has not yet issued a formal statement.
“Celebrating my two main channels being hacked with my favourite food. Vegan burgers. Death of BeerBiceps met with Death of diet,” Allahbadia wrote in one Instagram story.
Viraj Sheth, co-founder of Monk Entertainment owned by Ranveer Allahbadia, confirmed the hack on X (formerly Twitter), assuring fans that the company is working with YouTube to retrieve the channels. He also refuted claims that the incident is a publicity stunt.
“Unfortunately, some people believe the channel hack is a PR stunt because we are not panicking. To put it on record, this is not a PR stunt,” Sheth wrote.
Allahbadia, who began his content creation journey at 22, has built a following of over 12 million subscribers across his seven YouTube channels. He is known for his podcast “The Ranveer Show,” which has featured a wide range of prominent figures.
The incident highlights the increasing vulnerability of online content creators to cyberattacks, prompting concerns over the security of personal accounts and digital content.
