The incident occurred overnight, with hackers taking control of his accounts and renaming the BeerBiceps channel to “Tesla” with the handle “@Elon.trump.tesla_live2024.” His personal account was similarly changed to “@Tesla.event.trump_2024.”
Allahbadia expressed his dismay on Instagram, commenting on the “death of BeerBiceps” and even questioning the future of his YouTube career. The hackers, in a move dreaded by content creators, deleted all of Allahbadia’s videos, interviews, and podcasts, replacing them with footage of events featuring Elon Musk and Donald Trump. They further launched a livestream featuring an AI-generated avatar of Musk, attempting to lure viewers into a Bitcoin doubling scam through the website elonweb.net.
This incident marks a disturbing trend, with prominent YouTube accounts becoming targets of this particular scam. In response, YouTube has removed both of Allahbadia’s accounts from the platform, leaving them unavailable to users.
