**MUMBAI, INDIA -** YouTube influencer Ranveer Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps, has had his two main YouTube channels restored after they were hacked and deleted on Wednesday night. The incident left fans shocked and worried, with the channels being renamed and filled with content related to Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
The hack occurred around 11:30 PM IST, with all videos on both channels deleted and replaced with content promoting Musk and Trump. The channels were subsequently taken down by YouTube, leaving fans with a “404 not found” message.
However, both channels have been restored with their original usernames and content, though the “Home” section of both channels still shows a message stating that there is no content, despite all videos being accessible.
Allahbadia, known for his motivational content and interviews with prominent figures, expressed concern and bewilderment over the hack on his Instagram account, initially expressing fears about the end of his YouTube career. He also dismissed claims that the incident was a publicity stunt.
Viraj Sheth, co-founder of Monk Entertainment and manager of Allahbadia, also addressed the incident, stating his full faith in YouTube’s ability to restore the channels to their original state.
The BeerBiceps channel, with 280 videos, primarily focuses on fitness and wellness, while the Ranveer Allahbadia channel, with 111 videos, features The Ranveer Show, which discusses a range of topics including entrepreneurship, Bollywood, and history. Both channels boast millions of subscribers.
The incident highlights the growing vulnerability of online platforms and the importance of robust security measures to protect user data and content. While the channels have been restored, it remains a reminder of the potential consequences of online hacking and the need for increased vigilance against such attacks.
