**NEW YORK, Sept. 26, 2024** – Michael Dorf Presents has announced that the 20th annual “Music Of” tribute concert will celebrate the iconic career of Patti Smith. The event will take place at Carnegie Hall on March 26, 2025, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Smith’s groundbreaking debut album “Horses.”

The concert, a celebration of Smith’s influential work in rock music and poetry, will feature performances by a star-studded lineup yet to be announced. Joining Smith on stage will be her long-time musical director, Tony Shanahan.

This milestone event marks the 20th anniversary of Michael Dorf’s renowned Carnegie Hall series, which has consistently honored the music of legendary artists. The series has generated over $2 million in donations to various music education non-profits, including Music Will (formerly Little Kids Rock), Young Audiences NY, and FIXS.
