Thu Sep 26 13:29:57 UTC 2024: ## Ministry of Sound Throws it Back to the ’90s to Combat Cost of Living Crisis

**London, UK** – In a move designed to combat the rising cost of living, Ministry of Sound, the iconic London nightclub, is offering a nostalgic trip back to 1991. To celebrate its 33rd birthday, the club is selling limited-edition tickets at the original price of £5 and offering discounted drinks for the first two hours of each event.

For the next year, 100 tickets will be available for just £5 at each event, totaling 20,000 discounted tickets throughout the year. Additionally, Bacardi and coke will be available at ’90s prices for the first two hours of the night, between 10pm and 12am.

The club acknowledges the economic challenges facing young people, stating that “the cost of living’s got us all in a headlock,” and their mission is to “keep clubbing accessible and affordable.” This initiative comes as a report by Rekom UK revealed that one in three young people are cutting back on nights out due to the Cost of Living Crisis.

The first events to experience the ’90s flashback are this weekend, featuring Mella Dee B2B Carista on Friday, September 27th, and Groove Armada on Saturday, September 28th. Other upcoming events include Nicky Romero on October 25th, Fabio & Grooverider on November 15th, and Dimitri From Paris on November 23rd.

Ministry of Sound is hoping this nostalgic experience will provide a welcome respite for clubbers while also making club culture more accessible for everyone.
