**Los Angeles, CA** – Get ready for a night of musical nostalgia as the American Music Awards (AMAs) prepares to celebrate its 50th anniversary with a special broadcast airing on **October 6th at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and Paramount+**.

The two-hour show promises to be a musical extravaganza, featuring performances from a diverse lineup of stars, including **Brad Paisley, Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, Green Day, Jennifer Hudson, Kane Brown, Mariah Carey, Raye, and Stray Kids**.

The event will pay tribute to iconic moments in music history, with Carey performing a medley of songs from her celebrated 2005 album **”The Emancipation of Mimi”** in honor of its 20th anniversary.
