Singer Lana Del Rey has surprised fans by tying the knot with her boyfriend, Jeremy Dufrene, an alligator tour guide. The couple, who went public with their relationship earlier this month, exchanged vows in a ceremony held at the bayou in Des Allemandes, Louisiana, where Dufrene works.
Photos of the ceremony, obtained by the Daily Mail, show Del Rey walking down the aisle with her father, wearing a ruffled neckline gown with a full skirt and short train. She styled her hair in a side ponytail with a blue ribbon, her “something blue.”
The marriage comes just days after the pair obtained their marriage license on September 23. This is Del Rey’s first marriage; Dufrene has a son and two daughters from a previous relationship. The couple’s romance blossomed after they met in 2019 when Del Rey visited Dufrene’s tour company, Arthur’s Air Boat Tours, while in the area for the BUKU Music + Art Project festival.
The news comes less than a year after Del Rey told Harper’s Bazaar she wasn’t in love and wasn’t actively seeking a relationship. However, it seems their love story developed swiftly and privately, with the pair choosing to keep their relationship out of the public eye until recently.
