**LOS ANGELES, CA** – James Cameron, producer of the latest Terminator installment, “Dark Fate”, has defended the film as a worthy third entry in the franchise despite its lukewarm reception. In an interview with Empire magazine, Cameron acknowledged the film’s box office disappointment but maintains it was a “legit sequel” to his original films, aimed at a “granddad” generation who grew up with the iconic Terminator movies.
