Isaac Otesa, popularly known as the “Bungoma Goliath”, has finally landed his first brand ambassadorial deal after seeking a breakthrough inspired by his lookalike, Bradley Marongo. Otesa, a former boda boda rider, traveled to Nairobi hoping to meet Marongo and secure similar opportunities. After facing initial setbacks, he returned to Bungoma only to find success on his second trip.
The Health 4 All Foundation has signed Otesa as their brand ambassador, marking a significant step in his pursuit of fame and fortune. Marongo, who became an internet sensation due to his towering height, had previously advised Otesa against chasing quick money. Otesa’s new role comes after a period of struggle, which saw him share a bed with two others including a woman at Manzi wa Kibera’s house, forcing him to leave and stay with his in-laws.
