**Paris, France** – Italian designer Stefano Pilati’s highly anticipated collaboration with Spanish retailer Zara is set to launch globally on October 3rd. The collection, ranging in price from $17.90 for socks to $399 for a leather jacket, will be unveiled at a special event during Paris Fashion Week.
Pilati’s personal style, honed through his work at iconic houses like Yves Saint Laurent, Ermenegildo Zegna, and his Berlin-based project Random Identities, is evident throughout the collection. The pieces boast a sophisticated air, with dark palettes, luxurious fabrics, and sharp tailoring.
The collection features both men’s and women’s wear, with a signature sensual drape. Key elements include miniature strawberries, a recurring motif from Pilati’s time at Saint Laurent, and bold silhouettes that challenge traditional dress codes.
The collection also includes a range of accessories, from soft chukka boots and moccasins to circular bags and chunky costume jewelry. The campaign, shot by Steven Meisel, features Pilati modeling the menswear and Gisele Bündchen showcasing the womenswear.
This marks Pilati’s first design collection under his own name and follows Zara’s recent strategy of collaborating with high-profile names in fashion and culture. Previous collaborations have included work with Charlotte Gainsbourg, Barbie, and sustainable textile firms, all contributing to elevate the brand’s image.
