**Mumbai, India:** The highly anticipated film “Devara,” featuring Junior NTR, has hit theaters, but unfortunately, the hype hasn’t translated into a captivating cinematic experience. Despite boasting a runtime of over 2 hours and 45 minutes, the film feels bloated and lacks the emotional depth and thrilling action sequences that audiences expect from a Junior NTR starrer.

“Devara” tells the story of four coastal villages whose ancestors were valiant warriors, but who have now resorted to smuggling to make ends meet. The film centers around Devara (Junior NTR), a charismatic leader, and his conflict with Bhaira (Saif Ali Khan), a rival leader who wants to revert to the old ways.

The film’s biggest problem lies in its underwhelming storytelling. While the narrative attempts to explore themes of family, loyalty, and the consequences of past actions, it fails to engage viewers on an emotional level. The plot feels predictable and lacking in fresh ideas, leaving audiences wanting more.

Director Koratala Siva’s vision for the film is unclear, leading to a disjointed and unfocused experience.
