Telugu superstar Jr NTR’s upcoming film “Devara: Part 1” is set to make a splash at the box office, with expectations of a record-breaking opening weekend both domestically and internationally. The film has already seen strong advance bookings, signaling a strong start.

Analysts predict “Devara” to become the second-highest Indian grosser worldwide after “Kalki 2898 AD,” starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. The film is expected to rake in approximately Rs 125 crore on its opening day globally, with “Kalki 2898 AD” having earned Rs 177.70 crore on its opening day.

“Devara” has seen a particularly strong response in its home market, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where it is projected to earn between Rs 65-70 crore. Across India, the film’s opening day earnings are expected to be between Rs 85-90 crore. Overseas, the film has already sold tickets worth Rs 40 crore, including premiere sales.

Director Koratala Siva, known for his pan-India appeal, has stated that he does not cater to specific language audiences. He believes a good film will resonate with all viewers, regardless of their language. “Devara: Part 1” features a compelling action drama with Jr NTR in a double role alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.

Following the massive success of “RRR,” “Devara: Part 1” is poised to be another blockbuster hit for Jr NTR.
