**Hyderabad:** The much-awaited Telugu film “Devara,” starring Jr. NTR opposite Janhvi Kapoor, has finally hit the screens. While the film has received an overwhelming response from audiences and is expected to gross over ₹100 crores on its opening day, fans are facing disappointment regarding the sequel.
“Devara,” directed by Koratala Siva, is a two-part film. While the first installment is receiving positive reviews, uncertainty hangs over the future of the sequel. During an interview, Koratala Siva revealed that the second part’s shoot could be delayed if the lead actors are unavailable due to their other commitments. Although two episodes of “Devara Part 2” have already been shot, the director confirmed that further filming will depend on the actors’ schedules.
Jr. NTR, who recently starred in the blockbuster “RRR,” has two other major projects lined up. He is set to appear in “War 2” alongside Hrithik Roshan and is also collaborating with Prashanth Neel for a film titled “Dragon.” Saif Ali Khan, who plays the antagonist in “Devara,” also has several projects in his kitty. Janhvi Kapoor is currently busy with “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.”
With the actors’ packed schedules, the release of “Devara Part 2” seems distant, leaving fans frustrated with the lengthy wait for the second installment. It remains to be seen whether the team can squeeze in time to complete the sequel in the next year.
