**LOS ANGELES** – Prime Video has released the official trailer for “Canary Black”, an upcoming action thriller starring Kate Beckinsale (“Underworld”, “Jolt”). The film sees the actress reprise her role as a seasoned action hero, this time as CIA operative Avery Graves, who is forced to go rogue to save her kidnapped husband.

In “Canary Black”, Graves finds herself blackmailed by terrorists who demand she betray her country in exchange for her husband’s release. Cut off from her CIA team, she must rely on her underworld contacts and her impressive fighting skills to survive and locate the coveted intelligence the kidnappers seek.

The film marks Beckinsale’s second action feature on Prime Video, following the success of 2021’s “Jolt”. Joining Beckinsale in the cast are the late Ray Stevenson (“Thor”), Rupert Friend (“Homeland”), Jaz Hutchins (“The Outlaws”), Goran Kostić (“Taken”), and Ben Mills (“The Crown”). “Taken” and “Peppermint” director Pierre Morel helms the film, with a screenplay by Matthew Kennedy.

“Canary Black” promises a thrilling ride filled with high-octane action and suspense, as Graves races against time to deliver a ransom that could potentially spark a global crisis.

The film will be available exclusively on Prime Video starting October 24th.
