Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has taken to social media to express suicidal thoughts following a leaked phone call that sparked intense online criticism.
The controversy arose after online critic Vincent Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, accused Bobrisky of owing someone N4 million. He subsequently released a recording of a phone conversation in which Bobrisky allegedly made claims about his prison sentence, rapper Falz, and his father, Femi Falana.
In response to the backlash, Bobrisky shared a now-deleted post on Instagram expressing his despair and suicidal intentions. He stated that he had never considered suicide before, but the relentless attacks aimed at bringing him down had pushed him to the brink.
The crossdresser further claimed that he didn’t need anyone’s sympathy, except for his late parents, stating that his haters had “won.”
Following the incident, Bobrisky removed all photos from his Instagram account. His recent posts, which included extravagant photoshoots, have now vanished from his page.
The leaked phone call and subsequent drama have drawn widespread attention, with many Nigerians commenting on the situation.
The controversy has also extended to musician Seun Kuti, who initially approved the release of the leaked phone call but later expressed his disapproval of Femi Falana being mentioned in the conversation.
