Fri Sep 27 18:24:39 UTC 2024: ## Delhi Congress Leader Slams Kejriwal and Atishi for “Drama” Over Broken Roads

**New Delhi:** Delhi Pradesh Congress President Devendra Yadav has launched a scathing attack on Chief Minister Atishi and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, calling their inspection of broken roads a “mere drama.”

Yadav questioned the timing of the inspection, stating that Kejriwal was absent during a period when over 40 people lost their lives due to various incidents like flooding, electrocution, and building collapses. He pointed out that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government focused solely on saving Kejriwal and their power, neglecting the well-being of Delhi residents.

“Why did Kejriwal not resign before going to jail if he truly cared about Delhi?” Yadav questioned. He further criticized the AAP’s attempt to shift blame onto the previous government for the city’s condition, emphasizing that Kejriwal was the one responsible for the city’s development during his tenure.

Yadav also slammed Kejriwal for “playing the role of Chief Minister” during the first day of the Assembly session, despite Atishi being the current CM. He pointed out that Atishi has even admitted to being a “remote control” or a “showpiece CM.”

The Congress leader highlighted the lack of action taken by the AAP government in addressing the city’s issues, even during the Assembly session, accusing them of prioritizing political gains over the well-being of Delhi residents.
