Fri Sep 27 17:39:39 UTC 2024: ## Delhi Congress Slams Kejriwal and Atishi for “Drama” of Inspecting Broken Roads

**New Delhi:** Delhi Pradesh Congress President Devendra Yadav has slammed Chief Minister Atishi and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for their recent inspection of broken roads and dilapidated infrastructure in the capital, calling it a “mere drama.”

Yadav questioned why the inspection is being conducted only now, after six months of alleged inaction by the AAP government. He accused the AAP of using the issue for political gain, asking why development work in Delhi had stalled for so long.

He questioned Kejriwal’s absence during the recent tragedy where over 40 people lost their lives due to various incidents like waterlogging, electrocution, and building collapses. He demanded answers from Kejriwal about why the corporation had not carried out timely inspections to prevent these incidents.

Yadav further highlighted Atishi’s own admission of being a “remote control” or “showpiece” CM, highlighting the party’s lack of commitment to the city. He claimed that Kejriwal was issuing orders during his recent inspection, as if he were still the Chief Minister, even though he is currently facing legal issues.

Yadav demanded that Kejriwal and Atishi address the public concerns and explain their inaction, which he argues has led to the city’s current state of disrepair.
