**New Delhi:** Former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP National Convener, Arvind Kejriwal, has launched a scathing attack on the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing them of deliberately plotting his imprisonment to hinder development in the national capital.
“The BJP enjoys troubling the public,” Kejriwal alleged, stating that their motive is to prevent any work from being done in Delhi. Addressing the RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Kejriwal questioned the RSS’s involvement in campaigning for the BJP, demanding an explanation on how their workers can “look themselves in the mirror” while promoting a party they claim to not support.
“The RSS workers’ job now is only to lay down carpets. I am worried about them because they don’t get tickets,” Kejriwal said, referring to the RSS workers’ role in campaigning for the BJP. He appealed to Bhagwat to openly acknowledge that the RSS does not support the “corrupt government.”
Kejriwal also took aim at Prime Minister Modi, accusing him of lacking shame in lying while addressing the nation from the Red Fort.
In a separate development, Kejriwal instructed the Delhi government to conduct a comprehensive assessment of all roads in the city within the next 2-3 days. He has directed all MLAs and ministers to inspect the roads and ensure their repair within the next few months.
“I assure the people that work will be done,” Kejriwal stated, highlighting the dilapidated condition of the roads in Delhi and alleging that the BJP had deliberately halted development projects during his imprisonment.
