**Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia** – Volvo Car Malaysia has officially launched the Volvo EX30, its smallest and fastest electric vehicle (EV) to date. This entry-level EV SUV, the most affordable Volvo EV yet, is poised to compete with premium compact SUVs such as the Smart #1 and the upcoming Zeekr X.

The EX30 is available in three variants and comes in five colors: Cloud Blue, Moss Yellow, Crystal White, Vapour Grey, and Onyx Black. All models feature an Indigo interior with Textile & Nordico upholstery and Denim decor panels. Volvo offers a comprehensive warranty package, including a 5-year vehicle warranty, 8-year battery warranty, 5-year inclusive service package, roadside assistance, and 5-year complimentary Google and data connectivity.

The EX30 boasts a 69kWh NMC battery, offering up to 476km of range. It features two motor options: a single-motor rear-wheel drive configuration that produces 268hp and 343Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-100km/h in 5.3 seconds, and a dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) model delivering 422hp and 543Nm of torque, achieving a 0-100km/h time of 3.6 seconds.

The EX30 incorporates a Tesla-inspired minimalist interior featuring a 12.3-inch touchscreen for most vehicle functions. It includes Harman Kardon Premium soundbar speakers and a flat floor with ample storage compartments.

Volvo Car Malaysia is currently offering a step-up financing program starting from RM1,588/month with a 1.88% variable financing rate for the first 100 orders. The EX30 can be ordered online through Volvo Malaysia’s online store.

The EX30 is scheduled to begin local assembly (CKD) in 2025. For now, it will be available as a fully-imported (CBU) model.
