**New Delhi, India – September 28, 2024** – Vivo has officially launched its latest smartphone, the V40e, in India, following the design cues of its V40 and V40 Pro siblings. The V40e boasts a curved 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, the V40e comes with 8GB RAM and either 128GB or 256GB storage options. It features a dual-camera system on the rear, with a 50MP main sensor (IMX882) equipped with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Up front, users can enjoy a 50MP selfie camera with eye autofocus.

The V40e runs on FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14, with Vivo promising three years of Android version updates and four years of security patches. The device also boasts a large 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging, promising excellent battery life.
