Wed Sep 25 08:19:00 UTC 2024: ## Missing Man Found Dead After Boat Crash in Sandakan Waters

**KOTA KINABALU:** A 24-year-old man, Adzmin Isa, has been found dead after a boat crash in Sandakan waters on Tuesday. His body was discovered drifting near Kg Bahagia waters at around 9.50am on Wednesday, just a day after the incident.

The boat, carrying Adzmin and four of his friends, capsized near Kg Bahagia. While his friends were rescued with minor injuries, Adzmin went missing after falling into the sea. A search operation involving the Fire and Rescue Department, police, Civil Defence Force, and MMEA was launched immediately after receiving a distress call at 9.52pm on Tuesday.

Adzmin’s body was recovered by rescuers and subsequently handed over to the police for further investigation.
