Comedian Samantha Bee is back in the political arena, this time as co-host of The Daily Beast Podcast alongside Joanna Coles. The former “Full Frontal” host will bring her signature sharp wit and political insights to the show, premiering this Thursday.
In an interview with The Last Laugh, Bee expressed her excitement about the new podcast, stating, “We’re going to talk about Melania Trump! And I think that that makes us a good team.” The podcast will feature special guests from the world of politics, media, and pop culture, with journalist Kara Swisher set to appear on the first episode.
Bee also revealed her dream guest: Vice President Kamala Harris, whom she interviewed multiple times during her “Full Frontal” days.
With the election just six weeks away, Bee expressed a mix of hope and fear. However, she made it clear she’s tired of “undecided voters” and their perceived drama. “I’m too Canadian when it comes to undecided voters,” Bee said. “You have to pick a lane. You have to hold your nose and vote – every time.”
The comedian emphasized the importance of voting, reminding undecided voters that “no one is watching you vote. It’s the one thing that is sacred.”
