**New Delhi:** Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh celebrated his 92nd birthday on Thursday, receiving a flood of tributes and well wishes from Congress leaders.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge lauded Singh for his “simplicity, dignity and ingenuity in the realm of politics,” calling him a “visionary statesman whose actions spoke louder than words.” Kharge expressed gratitude for Singh’s “tremendous and invaluable contributions to the nation.”

Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, hailed Singh’s “humility, wisdom, and selfless service in shaping our country’s future,” stating that he continues to inspire millions of Indians.

The Congress party, in a statement, highlighted Singh’s dedication to the country, particularly his role in crafting public welfare policies that prioritized the progress and well-being of all sections of society.
