Thu Sep 26 16:53:45 UTC 2024: ## Popular YouTuber BeerBiceps Targeted in Cyberattack, Channels Hacked

**MUMBAI, INDIA –** Popular Indian YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, better known as BeerBiceps, has become the latest victim of a cyberattack. Hackers gained control of his main YouTube channel and personal channel, renaming them to @Elon.trump.tesla_live2024 and @Tesla.event.trump_2024 respectively. All content on the channels, including podcasts and interviews, was deleted and replaced with older streams featuring events with Elon Musk and Donald Trump.

YouTube has since deactivated the compromised channels, displaying a message stating the page is unavailable. While Allahbadia has not yet issued an official statement, he addressed the situation with a humorous tone on Instagram, suggesting the hack might be a publicity stunt.

However, Viraj Seth, co-founder and CEO of Monk Entertainment, a company co-owned by Allahbadia, clarified on LinkedIn that this is not a publicity stunt and they are confident YouTube will assist in recovering the channels.

The incident follows a similar attack on the official YouTube channel of the Supreme Court of India earlier this week, where unauthorized content linked to Ripple Labs was displayed. These incidents highlight the growing cybersecurity concerns faced by content creators and public figures on digital platforms.

Currently, there is no official update on whether Allahbadia’s channels will be restored.
