Thu Sep 26 12:53:51 UTC 2024: ## Popular YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia’s “Beer Biceps” Channel Hacked, Content Replaced with Crypto Scam

**Mumbai, India -** In a shocking turn of events, prominent Indian YouTuber and podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, known for his “Beer Biceps” channel, fell victim to a hacking incident on Wednesday night, September 25th.

Hackers infiltrated Allahbadia’s channel, renaming it “Tesla” and changing its handle to “@Elon.trump.tesla_live2024.” His private channel was also renamed “@Tesla.event.trump_2024.” All of his content, including recent interviews, was deleted and replaced with older footage featuring interviews with Donald Trump and Elon Musk.

The hackers then initiated a live stream featuring an AI-generated image of Elon Musk promoting a cryptocurrency scam. The fake Musk urged viewers to invest in a suspicious website, elonweb.net, promising double returns on their investments. This is a well-known scam tactic called “Bitcoin doubling,” which is frequently employed by cybercriminals targeting prominent YouTubers.

Following the incident, YouTube removed Allahbadia’s account. The channel is currently unavailable, displaying a “This page isn’t available. Sorry about that.” message.

Allahbadia, who was traveling to Singapore when the hacking occurred, has since returned to Mumbai. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he humorously acknowledged the incident, referencing his love for vegan burgers and suggesting the hacking could be the end of his YouTube career. He also expressed his appreciation for his audience.

This incident highlights the growing threat of cyberattacks on popular online figures and platforms. It serves as a reminder of the importance of strong security measures and user vigilance in the digital landscape.
