Wed Sep 25 02:40:42 UTC 2024: ## ASX Lithium Miner Liontown Resources Set to Report Full Year Results

**Sydney, Australia** – Liontown Resources Ltd (ASX: LTR), a lithium miner with its Kathleen Valley Lithium Project nearing production, will release its full year results for FY 2024 on Monday. Analysts are expecting another sizeable loss for the company due to the recent start of production at Kathleen Valley.

Bell Potter forecasts no sales revenue, an EBITDA loss of $46 million, and a net loss of $55 million. Goldman Sachs predicts similar figures with an EBITDA loss of $65 million and a net loss of $46.5 million.

While FY 2024 is expected to be loss-making, attention is now focused on the company’s projections for FY 2025. Goldman Sachs predicts spodumene production of 146kt, generating $143 million in revenue, but anticipates continued losses before profitability in FY 2026. Bell Potter, on the other hand, is more optimistic, forecasting positive EBITDA of $32 million and a loss of $58 million in FY 2025. Both firms agree on profitability in FY 2026, with Goldman predicting $18.5 million in net profit and Bell Potter forecasting a substantial $434 million profit. This disparity in projections stems from differing outlooks on lithium prices.

Goldman Sachs currently holds a neutral rating with a price target of $1.15, while Bell Potter has a speculative buy rating and a more optimistic price target of $1.90. These targets are significantly higher than Liontown’s current share price of 71 cents.

Liontown’s Kathleen Valley project is strategically positioned with a long mine life and offtake contracts with leading EV and battery OEMs. The company is believed to be fully funded to free cash flow.

Investors will be keen to see how Liontown’s actual results measure up to these projections and what management’s guidance is for the future.
