**Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia** – Amanat Lebuhraya Rakyat (ALR) and Payments Network Malaysia (PayNet) have launched “Sentuhan Ikhlas,” a new initiative allowing motorists to contribute to supporting B40 families with every toll payment transaction.
The program, which runs for two months, utilizes the MyDebit system at 152 toll plazas across the Kesas, Sprint, LDP, and Smart highways. For every MyDebit transaction, PayNet will contribute funds to the MyKasih Foundation, aiming to raise a total of RM500,000.
This sum will be used to provide 1,000 low-income families with food and household essentials through the MyKad program. The funds will be released in phases, with RM100,000 distributed after one million transactions, RM150,000 after 1.5 million, and the remaining RM250,000 upon reaching five million transactions.
“This is a small act of kindness that, together, can make a big impact on the lives of many,” said ALR group CEO Sazally bin Saidi. “We hope this inspires more motorists to join us in helping fellow Malaysians in need.”
PayNet commercial division senior director Azrul Fakhzan bin Mainor echoed the sentiment, stating that “MyDebit offers convenience and security while contributing to a meaningful cause. Through Sentuhan Ikhlas, every transaction is an opportunity for everyone to drive positive impact.”
The initiative promotes the use of MyDebit for toll payments, highlighting its security features and convenience. With MyDebit, motorists can pay their tolls quickly and easily without needing to reload a pre-paid electronic wallet.
“Sentuhan Ikhlas” offers a unique opportunity for motorists to make a direct and tangible impact on the lives of vulnerable communities while enjoying the benefits of a secure and convenient payment method.
