Wed Sep 25 09:00:00 UTC 2024: ## Veteran-Founded Company Offers Low-Cost, Jam-Proof Navigation Solution for Military Operations

**Asheville, NC – September 25, 2024** – MSRS Navigation, a company founded by a retired Tier One operator, is offering a revolutionary solution to the growing threat of GPS jamming in military operations. With all five employees being veterans, MSRS has developed a unique, ITAR-free navigation system that operates independently from GPS and is completely resistant to jamming.

The system, which has been awarded two patents with three more in process, utilizes an AI/ML engine to identify and correct errors caused by GPS degradation. It also incorporates real-time data from multiple sensors, achieving an accuracy of .1 meter per mile. The system can be easily adjusted by users through a drag-and-drop interface on a map-based GUI, or through a plugin for ATAK users.

MSRS operates in parallel with GPS, allowing users to rely on GPS in high-fidelity environments and switch to MSRS in degraded environments like jamming, dense foliage, or tunnels. The system runs continuously in the background, providing an essential backup for critical navigation needs.

Currently, over forty of MSRS’s “fly away kits” (FAK) are in use by US and international SOF in combat environments. The FAKs are easily portable, fitting in a Pelican 1200 case and taking less than 30 minutes to install. Notably, MSRS is priced at about a quarter of the cost of the Army’s current program of record, Mounted Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing System (MAPS) Gen II.

While the system is currently configured for ground and sub-T navigation, MSRS is working with USSOCOM through SOFWERX to expand its capabilities and is partnering with Hefring Marine of Iceland to develop a maritime system. A working prototype for the maritime system is expected in early 2025.

MSRS Navigation is offering a cost-effective and reliable solution to a critical challenge facing military forces worldwide. Their innovative technology, developed by veterans with firsthand experience in combat environments, could significantly enhance the safety and effectiveness of military operations.
