A mini gaming PC in the shape of the Tesla Cybertruck, called the Xyber XPC, is making waves in the tech world. The device, which is being pre-sold on crowdfunding platform Indiegogo, features a powerful AMD Ryzen 8840HS processor.
However, tech YouTuber Dawid Does Tech Stuff wasn’t satisfied with the standard configuration and decided to give the Cybertruck PC a major upgrade. He installed the most powerful consumer GPU on the market, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090, into the vehicle’s uniquely angular roof.
The installation wasn’t without its challenges. Dawid had to make several BIOS tweaks to get the card to run at all and even then, initial performance was on par with the integrated graphics. He eventually found a solution by connecting the GPU via a slot intended for SSDs, which resulted in a significant performance boost.
This extreme makeover demonstrates the flexibility and potential of the Cybertruck’s design, showcasing its ability to accommodate even the most powerful hardware.
