**Mumbai, India:** Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan has confirmed that his highly anticipated horror-comedy film, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” will release on Diwali. The announcement came with the release of a new poster featuring Vidya Balan, reprising her role as the iconic Manjulika from the first “Bhool Bhulaiyaa.”
The film, a continuation of the successful franchise originally led by Akshay Kumar, will face stiff competition at the box office as it clashes with Rohit Shetty’s “Singham Again.”
“Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,” a remake of the Malayalam classic “Manichitrathazhu,” sees Kartik Aaryan take on the lead role, following his successful portrayal of Rooh Baba in “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.” He will be joined by Triptii Dimri, known for her performance in “Animal,” alongside veteran actresses Vidya Balan and Madhuri Dixit.
The film’s shooting was recently wrapped, with director Anees Bazmee and the crew celebrating the completion of the project with a cake-cutting ceremony.
Produced by T-Series Films and Cine1 Studios, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” promises to be a thrilling addition to the horror-comedy genre and is sure to be a major box office contender this Diwali.
