**Dublin, Ireland** – AviLease, an aircraft leasing company headquartered in Ireland and owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), reported a pre-tax loss of $44 million in its first full year of operation.

Despite the loss, the company saw a significant jump in lease revenue, reaching $135.1 million in 2022. AviLease, headed by Ted O’Byrne, is tax-resident in Ireland.
