**Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir:** The second phase of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections saw a strong voter turnout of 54% by 5 PM, according to the Election Commission of India. Over 2.5 million eligible voters across 26 constituencies in six districts are casting their ballots to decide the fate of 239 candidates.
Congress leader Supriya Shrinate expressed confidence in the party’s ability to win the elections, citing the high voter turnout as a clear indication of public dissatisfaction with the BJP’s policies and a desire for change.
