Coldplay fans in India who missed out on tickets for the band’s Mumbai concerts in January 2025 have a second chance to see the band live, with a significantly lower price tag. The British band will be performing at Zayed Sports City Museum in Abu Dhabi on January 11, 2025, with ticket pre-sales starting on September 25th.
A cost comparison between attending the Mumbai and Abu Dhabi concerts reveals that the Abu Dhabi concert could be a more affordable option, especially for those traveling from outside Mumbai. This is mainly due to the exorbitant hotel prices in Mumbai during the concert dates, with some five-star hotels charging close to Rs 1 lakh per night.
Taking a Delhi resident as an example, a two-day trip to Abu Dhabi for the concert would cost approximately Rs 61,278 – Rs 62,734, including flights, accommodation, and visa costs. This is considerably cheaper than the estimated Rs 1,41,862 for a two-day trip to Mumbai for the concert.
The cheapest tickets for the Abu Dhabi concert are currently available for Rs 4,441, compared to the lowest ticket price of Rs 29,418 for the Mumbai concert on a third-party resale website.
Fans who miss out on tickets for both the Mumbai and Abu Dhabi concerts can still catch Coldplay in Hong Kong, with concerts scheduled for April 9, 11, and 12, 2025. Tickets for the Hong Kong concerts will go on sale on October 10, 2024.
