Ter Stegen had to be stretchered off the pitch just before halftime after landing awkwardly on his right knee, leaving the team and fans concerned. Barcelona president Joan Laporta confirmed initial fears, stating that a torn ligament is suspected, though further tests are needed.

Despite the injury, Barcelona’s attack was in full force. Robert Lewandowski scored twice in the first half, and Raphinha added a brace after the break, with Pablo Torre also finding the back of the net. Lewandowski’s impressive performance saw him extend his lead in the league’s scoring charts to six goals in six matches.

Barcelona’s victory extends their winning streak to six games and puts them four points ahead of Real Madrid, who defeated Espanyol 4-1 on Saturday.
