Wed Sep 25 08:42:49 UTC 2024: ## Samsung Rolls Out September Security Update for Galaxy S24 Series in Europe

**[City, State] -** Samsung has finally released the September 2024 security update for the Galaxy S24 series in Europe, bringing a much-needed patch for 67 security vulnerabilities. The update, available for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, comes with firmware version S92xBXXS3AXHD and weighs in between 288MB and 451.53MB depending on the model.

The update follows the recent release of One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy S24 and other flagship devices, which caused a slight delay in the security patch rollout. While the update focuses solely on enhancing the privacy, reliability, and security of the devices, it doesn’t introduce any new features.

Meanwhile, Samsung has also begun rolling out the September 2024 security update for the Galaxy A54 in Europe, following its initial release in the US. The update is expected to be available in other regions soon.

Samsung continues to expand the reach of its One UI 6.1.1 update, now available in Europe and India for the Galaxy S22 series. This update brings several new Galaxy AI features and other One UI enhancements.

In other news, Samsung has conducted a survey across ten European countries to gauge public perception of AI and its daily use. The survey results will help shape Samsung’s future development of AI-powered features.

Despite its initial global release date of July 24th, Samsung’s Galaxy Ring smart ring remains unavailable in key markets. The company has yet to provide a concrete timeline for its wider release.
