**PHILADELPHIA -** A dog abandoned in July after being thrown over a fence at the Humane Society of Atlantic County has found a loving home in Texas.

The dog, named Snookie, was captured on surveillance video being tossed over the fence by a man. Thankfully, she was unharmed and quickly taken in by the shelter.

After receiving an outpouring of support and adoption inquiries, Snookie was adopted by a family in Texas. Recent photos show her happy and thriving with her new sibling.

Authorities are still seeking the man who abandoned Snookie and are asking for any tips that could lead to his identification. They are concerned that this is not an isolated incident and that he may have abandoned other animals.
