Quincy, Christian, and twin daughters Jessie and D’Lila addressed the “hurtful and false rumors” surrounding their parents’ relationship, stating that the cause of Porter’s death was “long been established” as pneumonia.
The children’s statement comes after the recent arrest and indictment of Diddy, prompting some, including Al B. Sure! (biological father of Quincy), to call for a reopened investigation into Porter’s 2018 death. Sure! specifically alleged that Porter was murdered, a theory tied to a new book claiming to contain Porter’s journal entries from her time with Diddy. The children, however, have labeled these claims as “simply untrue,” reiterating that their mother did not write a book and any such manuscript is a misrepresentation.
