**London, UK:** Bollywood stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Priyanka Chopra Jonas enjoyed a heartwarming reunion at a special event celebrating the “Citadel” universe in London. The actresses, along with Matilda de Angelis, the lead of the Italian spin-off, attended an exclusive drinks reception hosted by Amazon to celebrate “The World of Citadel” at Fitz’s Russell Square.
Pictures from the event show the actresses sharing laughter and camaraderie. Chopra Jonas looked stunning in a halter-neck orange dress, while Ruth Prabhu turned heads in an off-shoulder blue gown. They were joined by director duo Raj and DK, who are helming the Indian chapter of the series, “Citadel: Honey Bunny”.
The event also saw the presence of “Citadel: Honey Bunny” cast members, including Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher. The teaser for the Indian series was released in August and received positive response.
Varun Dhawan, who was unable to attend the London event, praised his co-star Samantha Ruth Prabhu for her strength and resilience. Dhawan expressed his admiration for her unwavering work ethic despite battling Myositis, an autoimmune condition she revealed in 2022.
“Citadel” is a multi-series project with productions from India, Italy, and Mexico. The series stars Richard Madden alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas and is backed by the Russo Brothers. The Indian chapter, “Citadel: Honey Bunny,” is directed by Raj and DK, who previously collaborated with Samantha Ruth Prabhu on the acclaimed series “The Family Man 2.” This marks the first collaboration between Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
