Albany, CA – Get ready for a unique shopping experience at Bon Marché – The Good Market, taking place on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, from 11am to 4pm. Inspired by Danish loppemarkeds and French vide greniers, this vibrant market will bring together independent sellers offering curated high-quality finds in a lively atmosphere.
Located at 1245 Solano Avenue (next to Abrams Claghorn Gallery + Oori Triangles), the market will feature a wide variety of goods for sale, including clothing, children’s items, homewares, antiques, vintage items, jewelry, and more. The event is free to attend and is sponsored by the Albany Community Foundation.
Adding to the unique experience, the market will also include a “zero-waste” focus with Nimble, a local repair company, offering on-site repairs. Guests can submit items for repair in advance and drop them off at the event. In addition, other experts will be sharing tips on sustainable living.
For a touch of Halloween fun, the market will also host its 3rd annual Halloween Costume Swap. Donating clean costumes in advance will earn you tickets to swap for new-to-you costumes on October 5th.
“Come for the good finds and stay for good vibes,” says the California Copenhagen Collective, the event organizers. “Bon Marché is a very good market!”
