**New Delhi, India (September 27, 2024)** – Vivo has unveiled its latest addition to the V40 series, the V40e, in India. Priced at Rs 28,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 30,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant, the V40e aims to offer a compelling value proposition with its 120Hz display, fast charging, and powerful processor.

The V40e boasts a 6.78-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it features the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, ensuring seamless performance for everyday tasks and gaming. The device packs a 5,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging capabilities, allowing for quick top-ups.

In terms of optics, the V40e ditches the ZEISS branding found on its siblings, offering a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel wide sensor (Sony IMX882) and an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor. The front camera boasts a 50-megapixel sensor with autofocus for sharp selfies.

The V40e comes in two color options: Royal Bronze and Mint Green. It runs on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14 and is guaranteed to receive three years of major OS updates and four years of security patches.

The launch of the V40e comes hot on the heels of the T3 Ultra, another recent Vivo release. The V40e shares many features with its predecessor, the V40, which starts at Rs 34,999.

Sales for the V40e will begin on October 2, 2024, with pre-orders already available.
