Mon Sep 23 22:30:47 UTC 2024: ## Vince McMahon Slams Netflix Docuseries “Mr. McMahon” Before Its Release

Former WWE chairman Vince McMahon has publicly criticized the upcoming Netflix docuseries “Mr. McMahon,” set to premiere on September 25th. While admitting he hasn’t seen the series yet, McMahon claims the six-part doc, which features interviews with wrestling legends like Hulk Hogan, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and John Cena, presents a distorted and deceptive narrative.

McMahon, who agreed to participate in the series, accuses the producers of using “typical editing tricks” and “out-of-context footage” to paint a negative picture of him. He specifically takes issue with the series focusing on a lawsuit stemming from an affair, which he believes is used to further the “misleading account” of “Mr. McMahon” as his true self.

The former WWE head honcho insists that the series “falls short” of presenting an objective story and asks viewers to “keep an open mind” as there are “two sides to every story.”

The docuseries promises to delve into McMahon’s life, his rise to power in the wrestling industry, and the controversies that led to his departure from WWE. With the release of the series just days away, it remains to be seen whether viewers will agree with McMahon’s assessment or if “Mr. McMahon” will offer a different perspective on the man behind the wrestling empire.
