Mon Sep 23 15:13:37 UTC 2024: ## BJP Election In-Charge’s Car Gets Stuck in Pothole Amidst Jharkhand Campaign

Jharkhand, India – Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who is also the BJP’s in-charge for the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections, found himself in an unexpected predicament during his campaign visit today. His car got stuck in a large muddy pothole on a waterlogged road in Baharagora town.

Video footage shows the car tilted and stuck in the pothole as heavy rain pounded the area. Security personnel rushed to assess the situation, with Chouhan eventually exiting the vehicle.

Despite the setback, Chouhan continued his campaign, addressing a public rally where he drew an analogy between the dark clouds and the ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) party. He criticized the Hemant Soren-led government, calling it a “crisis” and labeling it as a “Jurm, Murder and Mafia” government. He expressed confidence in the BJP’s ability to bring change and win the upcoming elections.

The incident highlights the challenging conditions faced by political leaders during the campaign season, particularly in a state like Jharkhand, which is prone to heavy rainfall. The state assembly polls are expected to take place later this year, with the current government’s term ending in January 2025.
