**ORLANDO, FL** – Disney World’s beloved Scat Cat’s Club – Café at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter will be temporarily closed for refurbishment starting today, September 23rd. The closure is expected to last until mid-October, although an official reopening date has not yet been announced.
While guests will have to hold off on their beignet cravings for a few weeks, fear not! Mickey-shaped beignets, specialty beignets, and specialty coffees will still be available next door at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. The Scat Cat’s Club – Lounge will also remain open for appetizers and drinks, including their signature Baton Rouge Beignets.
Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory is the food court located inside the Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter, offering a casual dining experience with Cajun, Creole, and American cuisine.
