Professional wrestler Ric Flair announced on Monday, September 23rd, that he and his wife, Wendy Barlow, have decided to part ways. The couple, who married in 2018, have been through a difficult period in their relationship, including a brief separation in 2022.
Flair, 75, expressed his gratitude for Barlow’s unwavering support during his health crisis in 2017, stating, “She never left my side! And for that, I will always be grateful.”
The split is attributed to their busy schedules and conflicting work commitments. “We both are working on different projects at the current time and it becomes difficult with my schedule and her schedule to make this work,” Flair explained. He wished Barlow the best of luck on her future endeavors, adding that he knows she supports his own projects.
This marks Flair’s fifth marriage. He was previously married to Leslie Goodman, Elizabeth Harrell, Tiffany VanDemark, and Jaqueline Beems. Flair has four children, two with Goodman and two with Harrell.
