Director Ryan Coogler and star Michael B. Jordan are reuniting for a new event film, “Sinners,” set to hit theaters on March 7, 2025. Warner Bros. Pictures announced the title on social media, teasing a trailer release for tomorrow.
Coogler penned the script and will direct the film, which is shrouded in secrecy regarding its plot. The creative team includes producers Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian, and executive producers Ludwig Goransson, Rebecca Cho, and Will Greenfield.
This marks the fourth collaboration between Coogler and Jordan, following their successful partnership on “Fruitvale Station,” “Creed,” and “Black Panther.” Warner Bros. Film Group co-chairs and CEOs Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy have championed the project, having also greenlit “Creed III” during their time at MGM.
