Mon Sep 23 21:49:16 UTC 2024: ## Dawson Sutton Takes Over No. 25 Truck for Rackley WAR, Ty Dillon Moves to Mentoring Role

**Mooresville, NC** – In a surprising move, Rackley WAR has announced a driver change for their No. 25 Truck Series entry. 18-year-old Dawson Sutton, son of team co-owner Curtis Sutton, will replace Ty Dillon, effective immediately.

Dillon, who made his return to the Truck Series this season, has recorded only two top-10 finishes in the No. 25 Chevy. This follows a successful stint by his predecessor, Matt DiBenedetto, who secured seven top-10 finishes, including a win at Talladega in 2022.

Sutton, despite limited experience with only two Truck Series starts (a 28th at North Wilkesboro and 18th at Nashville), has shown potential. He will now have the opportunity to build on his skills in the remaining races of the season.

Dillon will remain with Rackley WAR in a mentoring capacity for the rest of the season. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity and excitement for his future plans behind the wheel in 2025.

Team co-owner Willie Allen acknowledged Dillon’s contributions and expressed his appreciation for his willingness to help Sutton develop. “We are super-thankful for the job Ty has done for us this year as our primary driver,” Allen said in a team press release. “We look forward to Ty’s continued valuable input and support in the ongoing development of our race program.”

The move marks a significant shift for the No. 25 team, placing a young and ambitious driver in the seat. With Dillon’s experience and guidance, it will be interesting to see how Sutton performs in the remaining races of the season.
