The team, led by American superstar Eli Tomac, will see Matt Moss joining the 450cc division alongside Tomac, while Ryder Kingsford and Kaleb Barham will represent Australia in the 250cc class.
Moss, a former champion, has been rejuvenated since signing with CDR Yamaha and will also compete in the Australian Supercross Championship.
The 250cc team features Kingsford and Barham, both rising stars from Yamaha Australia’s Yamalube Yamaha Racing team. Their inclusion showcases a collaborative effort between the two teams to provide a global platform for Australian riders.
“I’m thrilled to give these Australian riders the opportunity to race at a higher level,” stated team owner Craig Dack. “We’ve worked hard to create a competitive YZ250F for them and are excited to see what they can do.”
This international venture marks a busy period for the riders as they juggle both Australian and World Supercross rounds.
Yamaha Australia expressed their support for the initiative, emphasizing their commitment to developing riders for international opportunities.
