Mon Sep 23 17:27:45 UTC 2024: ## Macklemore Releases “Hind’s Hall 2,” a Powerful Sequel Addressing Palestinian Struggle

**Seattle, WA –** Rapper Macklemore has released “Hind’s Hall 2,” a powerful sequel to his pro-Palestine anthem “Hind’s Hall,” which topped the charts earlier this year. This new track features a collaboration with Palestinian artists and poets, including Palestinian-American singer Anees, Gaza-born rapper MC Abdul, and Palestinian-American comedian and author Amer Zahr.

“Hind’s Hall 2” features poignant lyrics addressing the ongoing Palestinian struggle, with MC Abdul rapping, “I’ve seen massacres, I’m grateful to be alive/ You appreciate life when you survive a genocide.” The song also includes a direct message to Vice President Kamala Harris, urging her to halt US arms shipments to Israel. Macklemore raps, “Hey Kamala, I don’t know if you’re listening, / But stop sending money and weapons or you ain’t winning Michigan / We uncommitted, and hell no we ain’t switching positions.”

The title “Hind’s Hall” pays tribute to Hind Raja, a six-year-old Palestinian child tragically killed by the Israeli military in February. Following her death, protesters at Columbia University renamed Hamilton Hall in her honor.

Macklemore has committed to donating all streaming proceeds from “Hind’s Hall 2” to UNRWA USA, a nonprofit organization supporting Palestinian refugees. The song is available on all major streaming platforms.
