**Beirut, Lebanon** – Lebanon’s health minister has described the situation in his country as “carnage” following two days of intense Israeli airstrikes targeting Hezbollah. The strikes, which have claimed the lives of at least 558 people, including over 50 children and 94 women, have left hospitals overwhelmed.
