**[City, State] -** Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is set to launch on October 11th and fans are excited for its release. One of the key features of the game, however, is its massive amount of dialogue. According to Daman Mills, the voice actor for Frieza, the voice acting team spent a full year recording dialogue for the base game, the longest they’ve ever worked on a single game.
With a roster of 182 characters, including 20 different versions of Goku and 15 Vegetas, the dialogue for the game is extensive. Mills estimates that he alone spent over 30 hours recording his lines for Frieza.
This dedication to voice acting ensures that players will experience a wide variety of iconic dialogue from the Dragon Ball series. The team at Bandai Namco has also tapped into the nostalgia of the earlier era of Dragon Ball, releasing a 90s Toonami-style trailer for the game.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero promises to reinvigorate the arena fighter genre with its massive roster and a focus on delivering an authentic Dragon Ball experience.
The game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
